Nacional. This is a blend of our unique tawny Ports aged for 7 years

in our cellars after a careful selection of the best 6 barrels.

The brand is also a tribute to Quinta do Portal’s founder to each

one of his 6 grandchildren. Lovely ruby color. It reveals a dried fruits

and raisins aroma. The smoothness and the well balanced on the

palate give a good idea of the slowly ageing process.

A single Riesling vineyard – located within the most fog affected,

westernmost reaches of the Casablanca Valley. 100% Botrytis. Light

golden in colour this complex wine reveals a seductive nose of

mandarin rind, crème brulee and apricot. In the mouth lush notes of

walnut, toasted almond and honey combine effortlessly with a

bright, zesty acidity to give excellent structure and length. Aromas of

citrus, mineral and stone. The palate is precise, bright, filled with

Cocktails

Classic Negroni 

Luca Picchi of Rivoire in Florence, Italy, sticks to tradition when making this superlative cocktail. The classic was first created for Count Camillo Negroni in 1919 at Florence’s Café Casoni. The bartender who supposedly invented the drink, a man named Fosco Scarselli, later sent a letter to the count advising him not to imbibe more than 20 of the cocktails per day. Classic Old Fashion

This drink started out as an eye opener and hangover cure and the name evolved over the course of what David Wondrich describes as the “Golden Age” of cocktails (1830s–1860s), when bartenders began to incorporate various syrups and ingredients. Espresso Martini Corretto

During the 1980s and ‘90s craft cocktail revival, Dick Bradsell was a bar consultant working in the U.K., where he contributed a few of the era’s most influential cocktails to the modern bartender’s repertoire. Most notable among them: the classic espresso martini. Bradsell originally served the drink, which he called the “vodka espresso,” on the rocks. Vodka, Coffe liquor & shot of coffe.

 

Vesper Martini 007
