Place of production – Almasa Do Spain,
Visual – Vibrant, deep purple colour.
Nose – Rich aromas of red summer fruit, cassis, sage.
Taste -Well-polished juicy tannins, intense silky fruit forward finish. Perfect with BBQs, rice & pasta dishes, jamon, chorizo & cured cheeses.
Vinification -Having pioneered winemaking in Almansa for more than 100 years, in 2017, Piqueras acquired a 280 hectare estate, Finca El Vinculo, located around the natural environment of Almansa’s dam. Certified as ‘Organic’ amongst almond and olive trees and a Mediterranean low forest, these vineyards have the perfect characteristics, high altitude (750-850m), scarce rainfall and nutrient poor, limestone rich soils, for the cultivation of Organic grapes.. Vegan friendly. Serving temperature: 18-20°C.
